Ba.belle Bruno Rainaldi / 2009

A mirror that is not "just" mirror but also a container, "split" in various disaggregated and overlapped fragments, potentially infinite in its harmonious way. Ba.belle is the mirror storage system designed by Bruno Rainaldi, consisting of three elements in a chromed micro-perforated net, with the same width but varying in height and depth. Harmonious geometric shapes, among which a square and two rectangles, designed to be joined in compositions with total freedom. The two larger modules with a mirrored door can be opened, and the interior made of stainless steel is equipped with a transparent crystal shelf to contain and hide all items used for our vanity.

"Overlapping and unaligned segments of mirror breaching the pattern of the orthogonality. An apparently casual “construction” expressing a new idea of rigour. "
