Fragility
and stability, lightness and solidity: those usually antithetical terms,
Papaveri Delicati (Delicate Poppies), seem to be able to co-exist as in all the
other creations of Gherardo Frassa. Small metal sculptures, table flowers that
never drank. Design objects that, on the one hand, represent flowers in all
their lightness and fragility, on the other hand they are supported by solid materials
and tangible realism.

Delicato appears as well as an object from the iconic flower shape with
hand-folded steel or brass petals supported by a sturdy stainless steel stem
attached to an irregular stainless steel base.
Flowers for
all seasons, eternal because they are made of metal, but capable of keeping
intact all their poetry. Available in two sizes and three finishes (red
varnished steel, shiny stainless steel or polished brass) those unusual and
unique miniature sculptures will inevitably attract the look, given a colour
touch to all those spaces, whether professional or private, where they will
always be alive and sparkling.
